60 Minutes Piece

Here is a 60 minutes piece that aired last night.  It reports on the work among our friends of the KC-based The Global Orphan Project as well as the story of Pastor Moise Vaval.  Moise lost his eight-year-old son Jean-Marc in the earthquake but continued to "work" for his fellow Haitians in the midst of the devastation.  Gene, Trey, Chris and I spent four days at TGOP's transitional orphan village in Croix Des Bouquets.  The 60 minutes crew was there at the same time.  In fact, here's a funny fact, ... I actually made it into this video, but you would never know it!   Here's a clue: look for the guy in the blue shirt, white hat, with his backside to the camera, background, at the 6:24 mark.  At the 6:32 mark is pictured briefly Charlene who had the nerve damage in her lower legs and lost her mom and siblings in the earthquake.  Also documented is the story of Renise, the 13yr. old girl who is pregnant, now being cared for by the TGOP staff:

Also, in case you didn't know, Lincoln has a sister ministry of TGOP:
