Please Pray for Us!
Gene, Trey and I just received word that the container shipment will arrive late from Miami to the Dominican Republic, so we've been asked to stay in Haiti through Tuesday Feb. 9th. Please pray for us. Gene receives word tomorrow at 8:30am if he can still go (he has a hearing scheduled in Minneapolis Feb. 8th). Also, we are going to KC tomorrow (out of where we are flying) and simply asking American Airlines at the airport counter if they will waive the $200 transfer fee as well as NOT re-assign us new tickets at increased rates. If AA does not do this for us, our ticket prices could be unbearably high and could prevent us from going.

Mike, Thanks for your leadership in the efforts to support our Haitian friends. I am anxious to hear updates from your trip and learn more about how our trip in March will take shape with the new information you will have. I am going to start a blog myself to share this experience with my students. In prayer for your safety and strength. Paula
